The Nigerian Bar Association ("NBA", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of all exhibitors and visitors to the AGC 2026 Exhibition Portal. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information We Collect
- Registration data: Organisation name, contact person name and designation, email address, phone number, country, and industry sector.
- Media assets: Company logo uploaded for display in the conference partners section.
- Payment data: Transaction references and payment confirmation details processed via our third-party payment gateway (Credo). We do not store card details.
- Usage data: IP addresses, browser type, and session information collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- To process your exhibition registration and booth allocation.
- To issue receipts, invoices, and exhibition credentials.
- To display your company logo and website link in the AGC 2026 conference partners section upon payment confirmation.
- To communicate event updates, logistics, and important notices related to AGC 2026.
- To comply with our legal obligations under Nigerian law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Data Sharing
- Your information will not be sold or rented to third parties.
- We may share necessary information with our payment processor (Credo), venue management, and event logistics partners solely for the purpose of delivering the conference.
- We may disclose information where required by law or a court order.
Your Rights

Retention
We retain your registration data for a minimum of seven (7) years for legal and accounting purposes, after which it is securely deleted.
Data Protection Policy
The NBA processes personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019. By submitting this registration, you acknowledge and consent to the processing of your data as described herein.

- Legitimate interest: We process limited data to maintain the security and integrity of our systems.
- Legal obligation: Certain data is retained to comply with Nigerian tax, accounting, and legal requirements.
Security Measures
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS).
- Payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party processors. We do not store card numbers, CVVs, or PINs.
- Access to registration data is restricted to authorised NBA staff and event organisers on a need-to-know basis.
- Our systems are monitored for unauthorised access and regularly tested for security vulnerabilities.
Data Subject Rights
- Right of access: You may request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure: You may request deletion of data where there is no overriding legal basis for retention.

International Exhibitors
Data submitted by international exhibitors may be processed and stored on servers located in Nigeria. By submitting this form, you consent to such transfer and processing in accordance with this policy.

General Use Policy
By accessing and using the NBA AGC 2026 Exhibition Registration Portal, you agree to comply with this General Use Policy. This portal is provided exclusively for the purpose of registering for exhibition participation at the NBA Annual General Conference 2026.
Acceptable Use
- You must only submit accurate and truthful information.
- Each organisation may submit only one (1) registration per entity. Multiple registrations under different names for the same organisation are prohibited.
- You must not attempt to circumvent the booth allocation system or payment gateway.
- You must not use this portal to submit spam, offensive, or misleading content.
Payment Obligations
- All fees are quoted in the displayed currency (NGN for Nigerian exhibitors; USD for international exhibitors).
- The NBA is not responsible for any foreign exchange charges, bank fees, or transaction costs imposed by your financial institution.
- Payments must be made through the official Credo payment gateway. The NBA will not accept payments via unofficial channels.
Booth Numbers & Allocation
- Booth numbers displayed prior to payment are indicative only. Final allocation occurs at the moment of payment confirmation.
- The NBA does not guarantee the availability of specific booth numbers or locations.
- Booth assignments may be adjusted by the organising committee in exceptional circumstances, with notice to the affected exhibitor.
Intellectual Property
- By submitting your company logo and materials, you grant the NBA a non-exclusive licence to display such materials on the AGC 2026 conference website and related promotional materials.
- You warrant that you own or have the right to use all submitted materials, and that their use by the NBA will not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
Limitation of Liability
The NBA's liability arising from or in connection with your exhibition registration shall not exceed the total booking fee paid. The NBA shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages of any kind.
Amendments
The NBA reserves the right to amend this portal and its policies at any time. Continued use of the portal after any such amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
This policy and all related matters shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
